Head Wounds

Last night the kids were messing around and Walker got pushed into the post on Kalysta's bed and split his head open pretty good. Now, I was downstairs when my sweet, a bit overly dramatic daughter comes running to tell me what had just happened. I will give her credit, she did her best to compose herself to let me know he had fallen and there was blood everywhere ;-). We decided to try to clean it up and use super glue. We did have some prilocaine cream that helped a little. James was going to stitch it himself but I couldn't remember where I had packed all his stuff and so like I said we settled on super glue. I am now wishing I would've just taken him to the E.R. The glue didn't quite hold together as well as I would've liked. Hopefully it won't scar too bad. Luckily, it will be covered with hair. My only question is does anyone know where I can get a bubble to put my son in? These things ALWAYS happen to Walker. Always...

I'm speechless, but not surprised. I am glad that he is okay. Seriously, he needs a bubble! Poor kid. Superglue? HA!

Ouch! Way to hang in there tough guy! Spencer has about 50 scars on his head - good thing he won't be going bald any time soon. I guess boys will be boys.

Okay, so I feel so sorry for your little boy because he does have a history of hurting himself... oh wait, so do I. Maybe he should just come live with me because blood around here is pretty common. I can make him a suit out of bubble wrap? Love you Walker!

Bubble wrap. I'm with the above comment. Wrap him up right now!! Loved hanging out with you last night! Your house is gorgeous. I love all that you've done. You're the best. Talk to you soon

Nice, nice, it is a pretty good size cut. Walker and his "magnet for accidents" head. Have you noticed that most of his mishaps are in the general vicinity of his melon?
